Shortcode Builder Locations

The IDX Shortcode builder can be found in any app or page editor where IDX listings can be added, such as:

• Homepages (under Settings > IDX Listings):
  
   
• Instafarm (find the Extra Information + IDX shortcode box):
  
   
• Pages and Blog editor (click Add Block , then search for and select the [/] Shortcode block, then click Add Listings):
  
  
   

Building an Shortcode of IDX listings

Before you can add listings to a page, you will need to set the parameters of your search by creating and saving a Listing Report under Markets in your IDX Control Panel. You can follow our guide here:

After saving your desired search result parameters, open an IDX Shortcode Builder from one of the locations listed above:

1. Under Listings, select ⦿ Listing Gallery*. From here, you can choose:
   • Featured Listings: All listings under your MLS Agent ID
   • Agent Listing: Choose a specific Agent and Listing
   • Listing Report: Choose from your IDX Markets
   • Open Houses Report: All Open Houses currently listed
   • Search: Search all listings on the MLS

2. After you've chosen one of these options, set the parameters of your search results:

   

3. When you're done, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button (located at the bottom of the builder window, below the list of options):
   
4. Paste (<ctrl+V> on Windows, <⌘+V> on Mac) the copied shortcode into the desired text box of your app or page editor.

View the page to see whether your shortcode is displaying correctly. If you need to make any changes, return to the page editor to build, copy, and paste a new shortcode.
